Flat Flexible Cables - Custom FFC Cables

Flat Flexible Cables (FFC) are durable low profile cables form 1 to over 100 flat copper conductors laid parallel in one plane and laminated between two dielectric films. Light weight and ultra thin, Flat Flexible Cables are ideal for tight spaces and they represent an excellent alternative to standard IDC ribbon cable assemblies where reducing bulk and rigidity is important.

Flat Flex Cable Coll2 copyThe standard spacing available is: 0.5mm, 1.00mm, 1.25mm, 1.27mm, 2.54mm, while the most common terminations options are: Cables can use many LIF and ZIF connector types and can be assembled using a variety of termination methods such as: solder tab, contacts / crimp termination, and clincher connectors. Same side or opposite side configurations are available and FFC can be shielded on one or both sides.
